Kara Jo Lehman
Kara is a clinical herbalist, yoga and meditation instructor, beekeeper, educator, and herbal farmer devoted to holistic healing and nature-based wellness. With a background that bridges ancient traditions and modern practices, Kara empowers individuals to reconnect with their innate capacity for balance, vitality, and self-healing.
Her journey began with yoga in 2000 and deepened through her teacher training at Yoga on Main in Philadelphia. In 2016, she expanded her practice through the Mindfulness Institute at Jefferson University Hospital and has since guided diverse communities—including adolescents with special needs, individuals in recovery, and professionals—through the transformative practices of meditation and breathwork.
Kara’s work is deeply rooted in the rhythms of the natural world. Currently in her third year of study with renowned herbalist David Winston, Kara brings a clinical and intuitive approach to herbal medicine. She weaves together the wisdom of plants, the grounding of yoga, and the stillness of meditation to create personalized, integrative healing experiences that support both inner and outer well-being.
Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, Kara holds space with compassion, curiosity, and reverence for the healing power of nature. She brings her knowledge of medicinal plants and ancient healing wisdom together to craft skin care that is powerful and rejuvenating.
Greg Lehman
Greg is our head beekeeper and farm manager. He has a hand in everything we do here, including crafting our beeswax candles and beeswax wraps. After 15 years in the corporate world, he turned his focus to the healing nature of the land. His passion for honeybees and the environment has inspired him develop our “pollinator first” approach to beekeeping. He has a background in craft beer sales and facilitates our bulk honey sales with local restaurants and breweries.
Greg is currently revitalizing our farm through regenerative agriculture, with a focus on restoring the land to its native ecosystem. By implementing silvopasture—a sustainable land management practice that thoughtfully integrates trees, forage crops, and rotational grazing of livestock such as goats, pigs, and chickens—he is creating a dynamic, symbiotic environment. This method blends the best of forestry and pasture systems to enrich soil health, rehabilitate degraded landscapes, and foster a more resilient and productive agricultural model.
